This year, Mundo Spanish School celebrates its 8th anniversary. The school was originally established in Jocotenango before moving to Antigua 4 years ago. The school has since grown in size and is now recognized as one of the best schools in Antigua, with a reputation for high academic standards. Mundo Spanish School works in partnership with the most important volunteer organizations in countries around the world such as: England, Germany, the United States of America, Belgium, France and Canada.
Mundo Spanish School offers individual and group courses, from beginner to advance levels of Spanish. The School also offers specialized courses for College Credit through Brookhaven College for different kinds of programs such as: Medical, Day Care, Social Work, Tourism, Animal Care, Construction and Education.
Mundo Spanish School is responsible for the management and coordination of its students and those who wish to volunteer and works tightly with Guatemalan volunteer organisations in different fields such as: Medical, Day Care, Social Work, Tourism, Animal Care, Construction and Education.
To complement the academic and volunteer programs, students are offered the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in Guatemalan culture by living with host families in Antigua. The families are chosen for their ability to introduce students to Guatemalan culture and help them to integrate into their new environment.
